Eiji Kobayashi

Eiji Kobayashi is the Country Head Japan at Securitize Japan Inc., having assumed the role in February 2020. Drawing on extensive finance and fintech experience from Wall Street (Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs), Tokyo investment banks, American Express, Mastercard, and Western Union, he leads the digital securities business in Japan. He also serves as a Director of the Japan Security Token Association (JSTA). Securitize Japan Inc. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Securitize, Inc. (U.S.), established in 2018. The company provides a blockchain-based platform for the issuance and management of digital securities (Security Tokens/STO), driving asset tokenization and capital market modernization in the Japanese market.
