Dr. Andrea Perin
Dr. Andrea Perin is Deputy Chief Representative of Banca d'Italia’s Representative Office in Tokyo. In this role, he analyses the economic policy debate and macroeconomic and financial developments across Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Australia, and New Zealand. He engages with local monetary and supervisory authorities, institutional investors, and business communities, promoting knowledge of the Italian economy and fostering closer bilateral economic and financial relations. With over 15 years of experience across central banking, banking supervision, and international financial institutions, including the ECB and the EIB, Dr. Perin brings deep expertise in financial regulation, governance, and integrity. He holds a PhD in Law from the University of Rome Tor Vergata, focused on prudential regulation and the sanctioning powers of supervisory authorities.
