Ryo Kato is the Representative Director and CEO of HashHub Inc. After graduating from the Faculty of Law at Keio University and obtaining an LL.M. from Northwestern University, he worked at Nomura Holdings' legal department and Nomura Securities before becoming Deputy General Manager of SBI Securities' Strategic Business Promotion Department. He has executed numerous M&A transactions in the Web3 and crypto asset space. He currently serves as CEO of HashHub while holding concurrent positions as Director of SBI Digital Hub and Director of CoinPost, among others. HashHub Inc. is a blockchain company founded in 2018, currently a consolidated subsidiary of SBI Group. With the purpose of "bringing the benefits of public blockchain to more people," the company offers crypto asset and Web3 research services, consulting, and product development. It is one of Japan's leading Web3 research firms, providing high-quality industry insights to both institutional and individual clients.
