Taro Kimura

Taro Kimura serves as the Country Manager for Midnight Japan, bringing a unique blend of founder experience, enterprise GTM leadership, and cross-cultural expertise. He oversees Midnight’s Japan strategy across go-to-market, enterprise engagement, community growth, and ecosystem adoption.​Taro’s career spans both high-growth startups and global enterprise organizations. As a former co-founder of Mycel, he led global GTM, partnerships, investor relations,and operations for a next-generation interoperability infrastructure protocol. Before entering Web3, he built a strong enterprise career at LinkedIn as a Global Enterprise Sales Director, managing strategic relationships with major Japanese multinationals and driving complex SaaS deployments. He also supported ecosystem growth for projects such as dYdX, SEI, EclispeFi and Umi Network.​Born in Japan and raised in Indonesia, Taro is trilingual (English, Japanese, Indonesian) and a graduate of Sophia University. He began his career at NTT Communications in global network operations before moving into enterprise solutions and Web3. His background across cultures, industries, and frontier technologies uniquely positions him to establish Midnight as the leading privacy and ZK ecosystem in Japan and Asia.
