In 2007, he joined SBI Holdings Co., Ltd. as a new graduate and was in charge of the SBI Group's information systems. After working in the electronic settlement business of the same group, he served as an officer in charge of systems at SBI Liquidity Markets Co., Ltd., which conducts foreign exchange related business. In 2019, he took office as a director of SBI VC Trade Co., Ltd., and engaged in full-scale crypto assets/Web3 related businesses. As the company's president and representative director from 2023, in addition to promoting the expansion of staking services centered on the crypto asset exchange business, he also proceeded with registration as the only “electronic payment method trader” originating in Japan in 2025/3, and led the provision of stablecoin transaction services. In addition, he also serves as an executive of multiple crypto assets/Web3 related companies within the SBI Group.
