In 2006, he moved to Yahoo Japan, where he was involved in business strategy planning in the media and advertising domains, and served as the head of payment and banking services. He was seconded to Japan Net Bank (now PayPay Bank), where he launched a commerce finance service, led overall business operations, and engaged in marketing initiatives. He also served as a board director of a digital marketing joint venture between a major megabank and Yahoo Japan. Subsequently, he worked at DeNA and Mobility Technologies (now GO), engaging in MaaS (Mobility as a Service) businesses and participating in the launch phase of GO, leading multiple projects. After joining NEC in 2021, he has been responsible for new digital service businesses, including web3, biometric authentication, metaverse, and secure computation technologies.
